International Yoga Day is a reminder we must keep our mental, emotional, spiritual and physical health before anything else, and take some time out to nourish and nurture ourselves with yoga, which will help us to balance our physical as well as mental health. Hence, yoga will give us strength to fight against the pandemic.

The World Music Day is celebrated every year on June 21 in over 120 countries including its country of origin France where it is known as "Fête de la Musique" meaning "festival of music" to honour both amateur and professional musicians.

As Ludwig van Beethoven once has quoted - Music is the one incorporeal entrance into the higher world of knowledge which comprehends mankind but which mankind cannot comprehend."

Music can definitely exalt us, divert us, cheer us up, or break the hardest of hearts with the softest of its melancholy tones. It's indeed the most beautiful of all heaven's gift to humanity.

To honour the father of the Library Movement Late Sri.P N Panicker we celebrate his death anniversary as National Reading Day.
